Training & Education

Annually, Graham Webb International hold a Competitions and Awards evening for all the staff, particularly the Juniors. The students are divided into three groups - 1st, 2nd and 3rd year apprentices and all have to produce models which are independently judged. There are trophies and prizes awarded for the top three in each group and the overall winner becomes the Junior of the Year and is presented with a cheque. In addition the second and third year students produce a Fantasy model to compete for the Artistic Design award and there is also an award for the Academy Student of the Year.

Other accolades are given to our team members who have been with the company for 10, 20 or even 30 years, there is a Customer Service Award, Manager of the Year title, Franchisee of the Year and an Overall Company Employee of the Year. The Managers are also asked to nominate their personal employee of the year from their own salon.

This year's event was held at the Stag Theatre in Sevenoaks and was very successful.

2nd place – Shauna Hickey, Bexleyheath

3rd place – Chanel Dykes, Eltham

Fantasy Creative talent of the Year: Lucy Cross, Bexleyheath
2nd place – Amy Loveday, Sidcup

3rd place – Charlotte Alderson, Eltham

Salon of the Year – Bexleyheath
2nd place – Billericay
3rd place – Eltham

Clynol Colour Shield – Adele Kaya, Bexleyheath

Junior of the Year – Sophie Wattingham, Bromley

 

The event was topped off with the presentation of a very special award for a hugely surprised managing director Jed Hamill who received a 30 year service award.
